Artzai Gazta is an association of non-profit producers that produce over 50% of Idiazabal Cheese.
It has relationships and contacts with European producers and 30 years of experience backing the association’s technological/scientific knowledge.It alsohas contacts with consumer motivators, given the association’s past experience in organising artisan encounters and national competitions.

Artzai Gazta’s objetive is to value cheese as a cultural tradition, and the work of the rancher as a value for bio-sustainable rural development.

There are currently 116 shepherd-cheesemakers partners in Artzai Gazta spread throughout the provinces of Araba, Gipuzkoa, Navarre and Biscay.

From the local point of view, Artzai Gazta is looking at the rest of the world with strategic references and support.
